Bullying is no longer an issue taken lightly. President, Barack Obama, and first wife, Michelle Obama, have taken it upon themselves to discuss ways to eliminate bullying in schools. As parents, they see how big of an issue it is, and are working towards increasing awareness in just how serious bullying is. According to Obama, bullying was treated as an unavoidable part of bullying, but that no longer serves true as long as you actively try to prevent bullying.
In fact, President Obama had a meeting with Lady Gaga to discuss her efforts and opinions in the fight against bullying.
